Harvey Victoria is a corporate member of the Association of Residential Letting Agents (ARLA), so you can rest assured we maintain the very highest industry standards. Harvey Victoria is also compliant with the Client Money Protection Scheme (CMP). The Client Money Protection Scheme is a compensation scheme run by the National Federation of Property Professionals (NFoPP) which provides compensation to landlords, tenants and other clients should an agent misappropriate their rent, deposit or other client funds.
We are also members of the Property Ombudsman whose strict code of conduct further strengthens our consistent service to consumers.
We like to be straightforward from the outset and that’s why we do not shy away from publishing a full list of associated costs when renting a property through us. Each and every tenancy is always different and we always have different agreements with Landlords. Having said this, it is always best practice for you to ask us for a full break down of costs that would be relevant to you. To avoid any disappointments and surprises before putting pen to paper and signing your tenancy agreement, here is a list of what you can typically expect to pay:

The tenancy set up fee includes the cost of referencing – which will cover checking your credit status, previous employer, current property standard check, current and past landlords and taking into account any other information to help assess the affordability of your tenancy application.
Please be aware that throughout the tenancy there are other costs that must be covered on top of the rent. These might include:
- Utilities (gas, electricity, water and telephone)
- Council Tax
- Television License
- Tenants Contents Insurance
- Garden Maintenance
